Our concrete demolition services have been a focus for our company for years. From exterior demo work, such as walkways or concrete pads, to interior demo work, like slabs and footers, our concrete experts will work to minimize disruption and keep dust to a minimum. We use two different methods, depending on the specific situation. Concrete sawing is great for removing sections of a concrete slab without risking damage to the rest of the structure. We use diamond-topped saws to complete this work, and our demo team will use water and sheets to keep dust to a minimum. The second method is a little more traditional: mechanical impact. Our mechanical impact services use a variety of tools, including machine-mounted breakers, jackhammers and hand-held sled hammers, to break up the concrete into pieces small enough to remove. Generally, we use this method for outdoor applications or during larger demolition services where targeted removal is not the goal.

Naturally, the second process that comes with concrete demolition is concrete removal. Our demo team is all about leaving a clean work site, which means removing each piece from the home or yard and loading it into a waiting truck or bin. For interior demolition, we generally break up pieces into small enough pieces to remove by hand. For exterior demolition, we will break up the concrete into pieces that can be removed by skid steers, wheelbarrows, or even a smaller excavator. Once we are done, we will go back and remove any dust, smaller pebbles, and any other leftover concrete to leave a clean, concrete-free site, ready for your next steps.
